What is the BETA Club?

Capitol Middle Magnet Junior Beta Club is an academic and service-oriented club. Any student in grades 6-8, in good academic standing (No “C’s” in any subject or conduct.), may be invited to join Junior Beta Club. Besides stressing the importance of academics, Beta Club promotes the virtues of honesty, service, responsibility, humility, justice, cooperation, industriousness, and charity. Beta Club students receive points for participating in community and school service projects that promote these qualities.

District Convention is always a trying time of the year, with that being said I will need all of the projects, ideas, and costs associated with district submitted in advance. Who and What is the Beta Club?

National Beta Club (often called "Beta Club" or simply "Beta") is an organization for 4th through 12th grade students in the United States. Its purpose is "to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership and service among elementary and secondary school students.

Convention News

District Convention Day has come upon us, District will be held at Copper Mill Elementary again in November 2020. All Capitol Middle Magnet Students are requested to attend the rally.  Please see Miss Kathy Smith for more information on competition, seating and permission slips. Also, make sure that the club has an emergency card, permission slip, and media release sheet on file for you/the student.
